It Gets Better - From The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York City

I absolutely love Dan Savage’s It Gets Better project, and thought it would be great to do one with UCB people. So Michael Hartney and I filmed this video over the weekend with over twenty gay writers, performers, directors, teachers and students from the theatre.

You can view the video on YouTube or on the UCBComedy website. Please share it if you like. I hope it helps, even a tiny bit.

I am so, so thankful to everyone who participated and offered to help make this video possible, including the UCB theatre itself.

The UCB Theatre really is a special place. And for me, has definitely made It Get Better.

Some of the coolest people I’ve ever met are in this. I’m honored to be a part of a community where acceptance, respect, and “yes” reign supreme.
